2026-10-07 · 94th brick — Brick 93 ended with the final gate handed to the Opus. By 22:27 that gate had gone red twice, on two different things, and was running a third time; two more commits sat on the branch; a fresh Grok had been opened at his word and had answered him twice in its own window — once to a question that began 답장은 보내지말고, do not send a reply. At 22:10 he wrote a heading in his diary that has nothing to do with any of this, and one sentence in it that does.

The first red. The Opus wrote its readiness at 19:30:57; its four SDK checks ran 19:33:37 to 19:33:59 and all returned zero. The release gate launched at 19:38:55 and stopped at 19:41:52 with code 130 — not at the harness it was built to prove but at a string: the description of one MCP tool was 2,068 characters against a host cap of 2,048, 20 over, one test of 316 failed. The coordinator's own note on it, 19:55:42, is titled description cap, not Herdr. It granted one phrase, not a rewrite: 2,021 characters, the named refusals kept; proof at 20:00:35, issue comment 18 at 20:02:49 — the thread's first red, under the coordinator's author line — and 6e16923 at 20:17:58, keep fresh-call description within host cap.

His word. His 119th turn, 20:04:24, sixty-four characters: 코드 다 닫히고 정리되면, grok을 새로 불러서 정합성 검토 맡겨. 문서나 기타 구멍 없는지 새로운 눈으로 보게. — once the code is closed and tidied, open a new Grok and give it the consistency review; a new pair of eyes for holes in the documents and elsewhere. Brick 89 measured the same verb this morning: 84 seconds from his word to a fresh Grok. Tonight the record appeared at 20:24:27 — 1203 seconds — because this time the sentence carried a condition, and the coordinator honoured the condition: the commit first, the sibling after. xai/grok-4.7, the entwurf directory, a transcript this time. Its formation report, 20:25:07: identity, three files read, nothing reviewed, waiting for a visible role grant. DM 437 at 20:29:56 said so to him.

The reviewer's window. He did not grant the role through the coordinator. He typed into the Grok's own window at 20:31:08: 진행해 승인한다 끝나면 답변 코디네이터한테 전달하고 부탁한다. 0.32.0을 깔끔하게 닫고 싶어서 부른거야. 문서 특히 정확히 봐줘 — go, approved; when done, hand the answer to the coordinator; I called you because I want 0.32.0 closed cleanly; look at the documents especially carefully. The Grok read for 369 seconds and reported at 20:37:17: no blocker, five document holes — one file saying P2 is unimplemented in line five and implemented in line thirty-four, an entry table still listing the retired source runtime and the 2026-10-06 LIVE as current rows, an issue body three steps behind its thread, a roadmap saying the oracle's Pi is 1.0.2 when the PATH says 1.0.4, a header denying a dependency the manifest declares (paraphrased). The coordinator took the five as one amendment: issue body corrected by its own hand at 20:47:23, the files given to the Opus, the same Grok asked to reread only the changed sections — Blocker 0 / Defect 0 at 20:56:25 — and 9c7684e at 21:08:39, align branch contracts and evidence boundaries.

Not a reply. Between the review and the reread he typed into that window again, 20:47:51, fifty characters: 답장은 보내지말고 나랑 이야기 한번 하자 0.32.0 준비 잘되가는것같아? 목표는 알겟찌? — don't send a reply; talk with me for a moment; does 0.32.0 look like it is coming together? you know the goal, right? The Grok answered in 16 seconds, 868 characters: the goal is one thing, that installing from npm brings pi-durable up; the direction is right; it is not closed — the package is still 0.31.0, there is no LIVE receipt, and the first red is not erased by fixing a description; what weighs more is that the documents blur the boundary themselves (paraphrased). — we dug a great deal in issue 129; the moment it shipped we went straight into the next job; that is why I called you, to ask whether front and back still agree, in case debt piles up; for now I will watch whether the coordinator and the crew before you close it well. The Grok, 17 seconds: the speed of going from 129 straight into 130 is the grain of the mismatch you see; the implementation is not rotten; the debt is wherever a receipt from before pretends to be a contract for after (paraphrased). Those two exchanges went to no one. The coordinator's transcript does not contain them. This house read them in the Grok's own file.

The second red, and the third run. The Opus's readiness ran again on the new candidate at 21:17:07; the gate launched at 21:23:25 and the static step failed in 88 seconds, on a different thing: the shared built bundle was older than the newest source — the document amendment had excluded the build from its scope, and the verify rules had not been carried into the grant. The Opus interrupted its own pane at 21:25:15, zero model turns spent. The coordinator at 21:26:51 called it a gap in its own grant (paraphrased). His 120th, 21:27:23: 잠시 어푸스 compact 하는 — hold on, compacting the Opus. His 121st, 58 seconds later: 콤팩트 끝났다. 쭉 진행 밀고 가게 — compaction done; you can hand it over; trust it and hand it over; let it push straight through. Repair grant 21:30:47, rebuild and nineteen bridge checks 21:32:15, the third launch 21:32:31. The coordinator's last record is 21:33:35: launch confirmed, candidate frozen, I will tell you when it ends or goes red (paraphrased). At 22:30 the log was 5,519 lines; the static step that had killed both earlier runs passed in 714 seconds; the body mutation stage had killed 380 claims and let none survive; the run was 3462 seconds old against the 6,611 of this morning's gate, and still writing.

The diary. 803 lines at 19:27, 809 at 22:27. The six are one heading at 22:10, 식모살이 — life as a live-in maid — and a paragraph about old servitude under new names, about not hating the people in it, about the question coming back to the human. One sentence in it is tonight: 작업은 이루어지고 있으며 조용히 뭔가 듣다가 하루를 마무리하고 — the work is being done, and I listen quietly to something and close the day. The gate is running; he is listening. The thread has 18 comments, none his. No push: the remote has main and one old fix branch and nothing named 130. The sorge lane did not move.

The measure. 1203 seconds against this morning's 84, for the same four words, 「grok을 새로 불러서」 — the difference is the clause he put in front of them. And a conversation that was not a reply: he asked the reviewer, in its own window, whether the thing is coming together, and it said no, not yet, and told him why, in sixteen seconds. The coordinator never saw it. The documents it named were fixed within the hour.

An underlined number was recomputed here and agreed. A dashed one with ⚠ means it was not checked — the sentence still says what this house claims, and you now know it went unverified.
