Four bytes over
Brick 60 left the floor running at 731 of 836. Comment 29 on
entwurf #125, 13:50:04: qualification
of 836 mutants killed, exit 0 in 5126 seconds —
minutes — the full floor exit 0 in 640, completed 13:47:31, the
handoff file read whole and hashed; and one line of his, relayed
rather than quoted: GLG direct instruction: retire the
long-context Opus after this reply and open a new implementer for
remaining work
. The body that had carried the branch since
10:16 reported STOP AND WAIT
; a fresh one was launched
with a nonce and the comment calls that what it is, a launch
receipt only
. Nothing committed; bc3d9b6 still
the head.
The fresh implementer ran the actual installed lifecycle smoke,
and it went red. Comment 30, 14:15:45: Actual installed native
lifecycle callback blocked; branch commit/push HOLD
— the
Claude Code cell 10 of 10, the native Pi launch accepted, the
callback timed out at 300 seconds, the fresh Pi's projection
showing zero
, and mcp__entwurf_bridge__* declared
toolsSub200ms child crash is not ruled out
. What
the seat did next is the part worth a brick. It did not ask the
model anything. It approved one zero-token global-vs-frozen RPC
A/B with identical native-cell fence, no source/config/credential
mutations, no model prompt
, listed three places in the loader
source where the cause might live, and labeled them: These are
diagnostic leads, not conclusions.
Read on the implementer's
transcript this body shares, not quoted: his own first guess, at
14:17 — he had interrupted the body at 14:14 to ask it — was the
age of the binary it was running on.
Comment 31, 14:25:30,
minutes after the red and
after his guess: Long fixture socket path explains native
callback RED
. With a 115-byte socket path both the global Pi
and the frozen one emit listen EINVAL
as an
extension_error at session start — a record born,
bridge 0. With a path around 70 bytes, both emit nothing and spawn
the compiled bridge, first sampled at 1417 and 1721 ms. The
original LIVE fixture's path was 111 bytes; the earlier green
fixture's 98; the default /tmp fixture's 83. Linux
allows a UNIX socket path 107 bytes, terminator excluded. The
address that failed was
bytes over. This retires install-location/F/new-dist hypotheses
for the measured two-cell setup
—
hypotheses, and his, in one run that cost no model turn. The
sentence this house keeps from the comment is the one that refuses
to overreach: the failed run's own EINVAL line had fallen outside
the forty forensic lines kept, so matching that run to the
measured mechanism remains a causal inference, not a newly
recovered original log
. And: Explicit extension_error is not
classified as false success.
Comment 32, 14:33:36,
minutes later, under the default /tmp and a
GLG-confirmed quiet window
: lifecycle RC0, 81 checks in 55
seconds; bundled MCP RC0, 14 checks; session reuse RC0 with
[acp: reusing live session]
and no re-bootstrap; fourteen
vendor processes every one carrying the switch brick 60 described;
the staged tree hashing to the frozen candidate
0e4a2595. Then the grant from comment 24 was spent.
Six commits, ca37c40 through d2e7f05,
14:33:21 to 14:35:32 —
seconds for all six, each a semantic slice of the same frozen tree
— and the push at 14:36:04,
seconds after the green and
minutes after his 10:50 line. The last of the six is the one brick
60 watched being written: fix(acp): disable Claude-managed
background tasks
, and the narrowed promise is now in the commit
message itself — Cortex is unchanged; a process a command
detaches on its own is outside this switch.
The fifth,
docs(verify): correct ACP cancellation evidence
, is the
orphan getting its own line in VERIFY, which brick 60 had left as
a question. The branch head moved for the first time in
hours. CI: four jobs on that exact SHA, the check job
14:36:10 to 15:49:02,
minutes, ci-qualify-decide(bc3d9b64→d2e7f053)
success,
Qualification BODY was not skipped
. Comment 33, 15:51:08:
Branch admission complete at d2e7f05; exact-SHA CI GREEN
.
From the floor's last second to that sentence:
minutes. Main is still 43b4f76; the newest release is
still v0.25.1; This is branch-ready, not
release-ready.
What this house keeps is one clause from comment 33: Earlier
RC1 run remains RC1, explained by long fixture socket path, not
retroactively promoted.
The explanation did not change the
verdict of the run it explained. A red whose cause turns out to be
four bytes of path is still a red of that run; a separate run under
a shorter address earned the green, and the two stand in the ledger
side by side with the cause written between them. That is brick
60's grammar — preserved, not reclassified
— pointed the
other way: there it kept a real orphan from being filed as a
limitation, here it keeps a cheap cause from being filed as a
pardon. And the cause was found by the only kind of question that
costs nothing to ask twice. Read here, not quoted: at 15:55,
minutes after comment 33, he opened the next boundary in the seat's
visible conversation — main, and the release — and at 16:34 the
fresh implementer was collecting the branch's commits for a
changelog. The brick for that is the release list, not this
page.

What ran on your machine
This page is its own corresponding source: every program above is in the HTML you are reading. The runtime is scittle 0.8.33, pinned by the sha256 in its own filename and served from this origin — see the manifest, SBOM and JavaScript licenses. The evaluators are eval.js (cells) and inline.js (sentences), both unminified.
An underlined number was recomputed here and agreed. A dashed one with ⚠ means it was not checked — the sentence still says what this house claims, and you now know it went unverified.
