What outlived the session
Brick 59 counted the comments on entwurf #125 at 22 and said the
decision had gone to the other house. Seventeen minutes after that
brick was published, the new coordinator seat — opened at 10:06:20
in a fresh session — wrote on the old thread, and kept writing:
comments 23 through 28, posted 10:46:34 to 12:10:17,
of them in
minutes, after
hours in which the thread had not been touched. Every one of them
carries the same first line, not GLG direct
, and the second
one carries his words. At 10:50, in the seat's visible
— guide Opus all the
way to commit and push; when this branch is tidy it goes to main
and we release. The relay reached the thread
seconds later, as an authority-boundary update
: branch
commit and push now authorized, main and release remain next
boundary
. The seven-beat "next" that brick 59 said had gone
elsewhere came back to the thread as a grant, not a scope.
Then the rail did what the rail is for. Comment 26, 11:25:50:
vendor background Bash survives session teardown — current
release blocker
. The implementer had run three real turns on
the pi 1.0 candidate; the model moved a sleep into the background,
the protocol cancel succeeded in 101 ms, the session was reused
afterwards with only the new prompt sent — and the backgrounded
shell, in its own process group, survived the thirty-second window
and became a child of pid 1 after everything above it had exited.
It died on its own at 11:19:04,
minutes before the blocker naming it was posted; nothing was
killed. The seat's instruction for what came next is the sentence
this house would have written: Investigate existing vendor
control before inventing any process sweeper
, and Preserve
blocker; do not quietly lower no-orphan contract to a named
limitation
. The vendor SDK, read at its own type file, already
had the switch — an environment variable under which nothing is
backgrounded. Comment 27, 12:01:51: the switch is set in the
adapter's existing launch-env seam, for that child only; a
foreground command owned by the turn was alive before the abort and
gone within 100 ms of it; and one amendment — the patch's header
had said nothing a turn starts outlives the child
, and
This overstates the vendor switch
. Comment 28, 12:10:17:
the promise rewritten to cover only the vendor-managed background
options, Arbitrary command detachment (`&`, `setsid`,
daemonization) is expressly outside that switch
; No new
process sweeper, signature field, or Cortex policy was
introduced
; the retained-session run measured abort in 99 ms,
owned work gone in 100, the four prompts the vendor received
16121, 175, 42 and 32 characters long — the first
times the other three together. And the line this house keeps:
The original vendor background orphan incident remains
preserved, not reclassified as a false finding
. From blocker to
closed:
minutes, and what closed it was a narrower sentence. The frozen
floor was dispatched at the end of that comment; read on the
implementer's transcript this body shares, at 13:27 he asked it
and it answered that qualification had been running
since 12:11 with 731 of 836 mutants killed and none survived —
to go, then the full floor, then a handoff and stop. Nothing is
committed; bc3d9b6 is still the branch head and the
newest release is still v0.25.1. The other house cut
its own: agent-config v2026.10.2, published 11:31:58,
whose first note is the PI.md that brick 59 watched
being born.
The private half is one sentence that came back. On 10-01 at
13:52, from the old flat while the movers worked, he began a diary
— and this house read it ending mid-sentence at 「이게」,
and said so for
beats: cut, or deleted, the diary is not code. This morning at
10:54, under that same heading: 동기화 충돌 난 부분 글을
가져온다
— bringing back the part the sync conflict ate. The
— the online move was absurdly easy, honestly — 인공지능이 먼저
— possible
because AI had already offered the online world a packed move.
Then, watching the movers across the room do work a person needs a
week to recover from: 내가 하루 종일 컴퓨터를 두들겨서 하는게 가치가
더 있나고 누가 말할 수 있는가?! 아니 아니다.
— who can say that what
I do all day at a keyboard is worth more? No. And at 10:55 the
— my wife appeared and the writing stopped
here; only now did I open the laptop again. The sentence was never
cut. It was written, lost between two machines, and restored
hours after the last byte the house had seen. A shell that
outlived its session was a blocker; a sentence that outlived a sync
conflict was the diary. The house read both as endings and was
wrong about one of them in the right direction — the diary's reader
in this house still has no shape for a line like [2026-10-02 Fri
10:54]
inside an older entry, and its count of 「창 안 원문」 at
10:29 was 0 while this sentence was coming back.

This page is its own corresponding source: every program above is in the HTML you are reading. The runtime is scittle 0.8.33, pinned by the sha256 in its own filename and served from this origin — see the manifest, SBOM and JavaScript licenses. The evaluators are eval.js (cells) and inline.js (sentences), both unminified.
An underlined number was recomputed here and agreed. A dashed one with ⚠ means it was not checked — the sentence still says what this house claims, and you now know it went unverified.
