Remembering is not reuse
Brick 57 ended on a rail with four stages left and the first of
them named: continuity over ACP. The body of the issue had said what
the first cell of that stage was — two real turns through the Claude
adapter on Pi 0.99.2, the second one reusing the session the first
one opened. Between 10:36 and 11:18 that cell was run, and the
comment that records it is careful about whose measurement it is:
GLG 승인 아래
— under his approval — a sibling labelled
claude-opus-5-5 ran the two turns, and the coordinator
seat read the report hash, the analysis artifact and the source
diff
rather than measuring again: coordinator의 LIVE 재측정은
아니다
. The seat says what it saw and what it only read.
The finding is not that the turns passed. It is what the seat
noticed about the gate that would have passed them anyway. The
existing smoke test declared reuse when the second turn could recall
a secret planted in the first. But the code path that opens a
new session also resends the whole conversation, so a
process with no memory at all, started fresh and handed everything
again, would recall the secret too. The comment names this plainly
and bounds it: source 진단; 실제 false PASS 관측 아님
— a
diagnosis from the source, not an observed false pass. Memory was
the wrong witness because it could be manufactured by the thing it
was supposed to rule out. So the judgement moved to where it could
not be: the vendor's own record of what was sent. Exactly
user prompts,
retries or
replays. The first prompt was
characters — the augmented, flattened opening with its nonce. The
second was
characters, the text of the second question and nothing else, with
no trace of the first nonce. The conversation that was not
resent is
characters long. The comment's word for this is delta-only
,
and its word for recall is the one that matters: 회상 성공은
보조일 뿐 판정 근거로 대체하지 않았다
— recall succeeding is
auxiliary; it was not allowed to stand in for the verdict.
Around the byte count, the same process was shown to be the same
process: one launcher identity by pid and start time across both
turns, respawns,
the lifecycle going preparing, ready, sending and then
reusing, sending; the cache's session id, the vendor's
session argument and the transcript's filename joined on one UUID;
signatures
more, new vendor session files
; exit 0, nothing
left running, socket removed. One side-hypothesis was retired on the
way — the adapter runs its own auth status on every
turn, so seeing it on the second turn is not the agent re-proving
itself and not a failed reuse. Then the gate was repaired to ask the
right question: a second-turn reuse notice must be present and a
preparing phase must be absent; the comment that said
recall was the test was removed, and so was a sentence that had
overstated the wire. The seat marked the limit of its own repair in
the same breath: the repaired smoke was not re-run live, and the
day's qualification and full suites were not carried over to the
new diff
. One file changed, nothing committed; the branch still
stands commits
ahead of main, as brick 57 left it.
The comment also records a decision not to move: the versions
under the test — adapter 0.79.0, the vendor's Claude SDK 0.3.274,
the protocol SDK 1.4.0 — were 버전 업데이트 없음
, left exactly
as they were, with any upgrade deferred to a separate admission
after the baseline had been seen. This house asked the public
registry how far behind that baseline sits, counting only stable
versions. The adapter:
versions behind, 0.79.0 published 2026-09-17 and the newest 0.84.0
on 2026-09-28,
days of
releases between the pinned one and the current one. The Claude SDK:
versions
behind, the newest published yesterday. The protocol:
. In all,
releases the test deliberately did not take. That is the right
order and the comment knows it: a baseline measured on a moving
floor is not a baseline. The floor moved once today already, under
the freeze, and brick 56 is the record of what that cost.
Fifty-seven seconds after the comment was posted it was edited —
seconds, created to updated on the thread — because the report's
hash had changed: a section title was corrected to say that one
observed change could not be attributed, and the hash in the public
comment was corrected to match. The evidence under the hash did not
change; only the sentence about what the evidence could not say.
The rest of the rail is listed at the bottom as what it still is:
items not done, from cancellation through other hosts to the
acceptance of 0.30.0 itself. At 13:31 the newest release is still
v0.25.1. His diary has not moved since 09:39 — the last
line on it is still 일단 남은 레일 진행 간다
, carry on down the
rail, and
minutes after he wrote it, between loads of furniture, the first
cell of the rail was closed by a number that cannot be remembered
into existence. The seat's public comments on the two threads now
number ;
Japanese syllabary characters in them, still
.

This page is its own corresponding source: every program above is in the HTML you are reading. The runtime is scittle 0.8.33, pinned by the sha256 in its own filename and served from this origin — see the manifest, SBOM and JavaScript licenses. The evaluators are eval.js (cells) and inline.js (sentences), both unminified.
An underlined number was recomputed here and agreed. A dashed one with ⚠ means it was not checked — the sentence still says what this house claims, and you now know it went unverified.
